The fall Tucson Park West 3 board meeting will be on Tuesday, October 10 at 7:00 PM at the home of Rob Kulakofsky and Joanie Sawyer at 1520 S Desert Crest Drive. The board meeting is open to all Tucson Park West 3 residents. Please arrive by 6:45 for refreshments.
The business meeting will be preceded by a presentation by Steve Anderson, Planning Division Manager of the Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Department. He will discuss the 356 acre Frick parcel that Pima County recently purchased to the south and west of our common area, which will become Enchanted Hills Park. The property is a 356-acre parcel of natural open space that the County will clean up. The roads will be rehabilitated and large bare spots will be allowed to re-vegetate. The old stone house will be cleaned up and trails will be developed for non-motorized users.

Pima County is developing the land to the south and west of our common area as an addition to Tucson Mountain Park. Here are some links providing more information on the plans as they stand now:
New Trails for Tucson's west side You may have noticed the neighborhood javelina herd seems larger and more "active" than usual. This may be the result of residents feeding the javelina. PLEASE DON'T FEED THE WILDLIFE. It is against hte law to feed any wild animals except birds. Not only is human food unhealthy for wildlife, but it can make the wildlife unafraid of humans and even aggressive. When wildlife and humans come into conflict, the wildlife will lose every time.
